COMPANY SAFETY STATEMENT
GAKCO Corporation is committed to protecting and promoting the health and safety of all employees and providing a safe and healthy work environment through the co-operative efforts of all employees.
To achieve this commitment, health, and safety is integrated into all organizational activities to strive to eliminate all incidents that may downgrade the safety and efficiency of our operations. We provide basic PPE (Personal protective equipment), a Company Health & Safety Manual,SDS / MSDS, and weekly safety training meetings for all employees to ensure every member of our company has the knowledge and skill to perform their work safely and efficiently.
All management functions ensure compliance with our written Health and Safety Program and the OSHA regulations as they apply to design, operation and maintenance of job site safety and equipment. Our approach to Total Quality Management ensures that all GAKCO Corp personnel have the authority to take action where sufficient hazard exists, including the right to stop unsafe work or activities to protect ones-self, other employees and the public.
The services of our multiple OSHA Certified employees and OSHA Competent Persons For Excavation, Trenching, and Shoring are provided to work in tandem with management, supervision and staff to ensure that any potential hazardous conditions on the job site are eliminated. All employees are encouraged to take (FREE / Paid) company provided OSHA -10 Construction & OSHA Excavation/ Competent Person Training courses. Employees are mandated to perform their jobs in accordance with OSHA and its regulations, established procedures, and are to report any safety hazards detected to their immediate supervisor for remediation.

The attached PDFs represent all of our Safety Data Sheets (SDS). They are detailed information bulletins prepared by the manufacturer or importer of chemicals that may be used during our normal operations, that describe the physical and chemical properties, physical and health hazards, routes of exposure, precautions for safe handling and use, emergency and first-aid procedures, and control measures.
The Information on these safety data sheets aid in the selection of safe products and helps prepare our management and employees to respond effectively to daily exposure situations as well as to emergency situations.

Excavation Site Safety
The attached PDF program, outlines procedures and guidelines for the protection of employees working in and around excavations and trenches. This program requires compliance with OSHA Standards described in Subpart P (CFR 1926.650) for the construction industry.
